During the official visit of Prime Minister Aleksandar Vučić to the Russian Federation, on Tuesday 27 In October, a joint session of the Business Council for Cooperation with Serbia at the Russian Chamber of Commerce and Industry and the Business Council for Cooperation with Russia at the Serbian Chamber of Commerce was held.
The session of the Business Council was attended by representatives of 120 Serbian and about a hundred Russian companies from all sectors of the economy. Serbia presented to the members of the Business Council and potential investors selected investment projects in the fields of agricultural and food industry, rubber and plastic production, metal processing industry, tourism and catering.
“This is so far the largest business delegation that, organized by the Serbian Chamber of Commerce, is going to Russia together with the state delegation. This speaks of the interest of domestic companies in improving economic cooperation with Russia, of the perception of the Russian market as one of the most important export destinations for Serbian products in the long term. A special quality of the business delegation’s stay in Moscow will be direct, B2B discussions with representatives of Russian companies within the Business Forum program. I expect that we will come back with concrete contracts and that is what PKS insists on. The goal is for businessmen to achieve greater exports through concrete proposals,” said Marko Čadež, president of the Serbian Chamber of Commerce.
Several agreements were also signed in Moscow – the Cooperation Agreement between Sberbank Serbia and Energoprojekt, the Cooperation Agreement between Sberbank Serbia and NIS, as well as the Cooperation Agreement between the International Innovation Club ARCHIMED and the Chamber of Commerce of Serbia.
