Quality management system

The Institute’s business is focused on meeting the demands of service users. In an effort to maintain and improve work processes and the quality of testing, in 2005 the Institute introduced the Quality Management System (ISO 9001:2001). By consistently applying this standard and applying its current editions (SRPS ISO 9001:2015) through recertifications by certification houses, the Institute’s management has committed itself to follow strategic goals and carry out entrusted jobs and tasks in accordance with legal and professional norms, with quality and efficiency.

In order to confirm the competence of its laboratories, the Institute has implemented the ISO 17025 standard – General requirements for the competence of testing laboratories and calibration laboratories. A positive assessment that the requirements of the SRPS ISO IEC 17025:2017 standard are fully implemented and respected in the Institute is given by the Accreditation Body of Serbia through regular annual evaluations.

In recent decades, environmental protection has been an imperative for humanity, not only because of the preservation of the environment, but also because of the preservation of natural resources. That is why the Institute introduced the standard SRPS ISO 14001:2015 – Environmental Management System, which defines the requirements for managing environmental protection, which confirms the Institute’s commitment to sustainable development and environmental protection.
