Quality management system

The Institute focuses on meeting the needs of its service users. In 2005, Institute implemented the Quality Management System (ISO 9001:2001) to enhance work processes and testing quality. By consistently adhering to this standard and its current editions (SRPS ISO 9001:2015) through recertifications by certification bodies, the Institute’s management pledges to pursue strategic objectives and execute entrusted responsibilities in line with legal and professional standards, emphasizing quality and efficiency.

In order to ensure the competence of its laboratories, the Institute has embraced the ISO 17025 standard, which sets out the fundamental requirements for testing and calibration laboratories. The Accreditation Body of Serbia conducts routine annual assessments to verify complete adherence to the SRPS ISO IEC 17025:2017 standard.

Recognizing the increasing importance of environmental protection, the Institute has taken proactive measures by implementing the SRPS ISO 14001:2015 standard for Environmental Management Systems. This strategic move reflects the Institute’s steadfast commitment to sustainable practices and the preservation of our natural world.
