From 1. In October of this year, the state will abolish vaccination against classical swine fever (Swine Fever), the Ministry of Agriculture confirmed to Tanjug.
By the end of the week, a rulebook should be published that defines in which parts of Serbia vaccination will be abolished, and in which locations the measure will remain valid. This measure of the Ministry of Agriculture should influence Serbia to be approved for the export of pork to the European Union.
At the moment, Serbia can only export to the EU countries products made from pork, which have undergone a certain type of heat treatment.
When it comes to the previously announced export of beef, the first contingents from Serbian slaughterhouses should leave for Turkey in the next ten days.
A delegation from Egypt should arrive in our country soon to negotiate with the authorities on the conditions under which Serbian beef can be exported to that market.
