Awards of the Serbian Chamber of Commerce (PKS) for 2016. year were awarded on Thursday (December 8, 2016) to companies, institutes and individuals for success in business, innovation and science, improvement of management, informing the public about the work of the Chamber and economic trends.
Jubilee awards for successful business were awarded Scientific Institute of Veterinary Medicine of Serbia for 90 years of successful business, to the Čoka tobacco industry for 140 years, to British American Tobacco from Vranje for 131 years, to Prva Iskra – dedicated production in Barič for 78 years, to Krušik Holding Corporation from Valjevo for 77 years and to Morava Čačak for 70 years of successful business. Awards were presented to companies: Slobodna zona Pirot, Societe Generale banka Beograd, MK Mountain Resort Kopaonik, Van Drunen Farms Evropa Banatsko Karađorđevo, as well as the company Zaliv prevozno tragovinsko from Crvenka.
Awards were also presented to individuals whose work contributed to improving the image of the Serbian economy. The award in this category was also received by dr sci.vet.med. Dobrila Jakić-Dimić, director of the Scientific Institute for Veterinary Medicine of Serbia for contributing to the achieved results in economic development and improving management.
Nemanja Jevtović, a student of the Faculty of Organizational Sciences at the University of Belgrade, was also awarded an award for innovation and achieved results in science, and the award for contribution to informing the public about business operations and PKS was presented to Aleksandra Bulatović, a journalist from the economic section of Večernje Novosti.
Jubilee awards were also given – to Apatina Brewery for 260 years of successful business, Gornji Banat from Kikinda for 170 years, as well as Toza Marković Kikinda for 150 years of successful business.
The Mihajlo Pupin Institute in Belgrade also received a jubilee award for 70 years of successful business, as well as Aleva Novi Kneževac for 70 years of successful business, Metalna industrija Alfa-Plam Vranje for 68 years, Vino Župa Aleksandrovac for 60 years, Energoprojekt Holding Belgrade for 64, Hemijska industry Hiv Vranje for 59 years, Energomontaza Beograd for 58 years, as well as Hemofarm Vršac for 56 years, Putevi Ivanjica for 55 years of business and Đuđa Giugia Žiča Kraljevo for 50 years of successful business.
