Climate change is increasingly reported and has an impact on all areas of food production, and therefore on the scientific work of EFSA.
That’s why EFSA launched a new project, CLEFSA (Climate Change and Emerging Risks to Food Safety), which will develop a method for identifying emerging risks related to climate change. It will also enable the ranking and prioritization of risks in the area of food and feed safety, plant and animal health. To begin, she will collect a list of potential issues that emerge through the stakeholder scan.
