Climate change is increasingly reported and has an impact on all areas of food production, and therefore on the scientific work of EFSA.

That’s why EFSA launched a new project, CLEFSA (Climate Change and Emerging Risks to Food Safety), which will develop a method for identifying emerging risks related to climate change. It will also enable the ranking and prioritization of risks in the area of ​​food and feed safety, plant and animal health. To begin, she will collect a list of potential issues that emerge through the stakeholder scan.
