Brief description of the training: The training consists of a theoretical and practical part and includes
- TSE/BSE – the current situation in the region and the world and what we know so far (theoretical part)
- Sampling for TSE testing (theoretical and practical part in the autopsy room or at the slaughterhouse)
- Diagnostics: quick and confirmatory tests (theoretical part)
- Application of a rapid immunoenzymatic test for the detection of pathological prion protein – performance and critical points (theoretical and practical part)
- Decontamination of the laboratory and infectious waste (theoretical and practical part)
