Description of basic activities in the department
The basic activities at the Department include: collaboration with veterinary services of large farms through contractual agreements aimed at controlling and monitoring health status and preventing the occurrence of infectious diseases, maintaining acquired status, as well as eradicating certain infectious diseases; cooperation with field veterinary services; collaboration with hunting organizations to improve the health status of wild animals; assistance to veterinary inspection in its activities related to monitoring, control, and eradication of infectious diseases.
